Hi Charmaine!

Have you looked for more healthier recipes? I've read that starches are okay before 3pm and after that your body doesn't use them. You use starch as fuel but the time you need that fuel is in the morning. Maybe try doing Fruit for breakfast, Veggies for lunch and Legumes/Beans for dinner. Peas and rice does sound delicious though. Also try differnt varietys such as raw fruit rather than fried.

I'm not a Doctor so please don't take my opinion as one. I am here to help with the knowledge I have obtained.

Hi you might want to check out back issues of runner's world for recipes as well. they feature quite a bit of lean cuisine.
