Hi Kiveli, I am new to this group but I saw that no one has replied to your question. My daughter was diagnosed with Fibrous Dysplasia in Feb of this yr. I've been trying to educate myself as much as possible about this disease. The more I am learning, it seems that there really arent any doctors who are experts in this field. It is very rare. It also depends on where she has it in her body. My daughter has in her mandible (lower jaw), so Im told that only Oral Surgeons deal with the jaw. Other people might see an ENT, Orthopedic Surgeon, and so on...What part of the body does she have it? I am here if you need someone to talk to or have any other questions. ~Nikki |
