Mimi, I have been on 2mg Suboxone for about 1 1/2 years now, but honestly don't know if it decreases sexual desire. I suspect that it can, because many drugs in the same drug class do. I've been on so many meds for so many years for fibro pain, that I have very little sexual desire - but don't really know which ones are the culprit. I know pain itself is one of the culprits! Sad

I'm an Advocate

I have to be perfectly honest, it completely killed any sex drive I had for a very long time. However, the good news is that it's coming back! Yay! Finally Smile

The only reason for my decline was the pain, not the Suboxone. I've been on Suboxone for 1-1/2 years.

It's a funny thing because his sexual desire has seemed to be coming back slowly but surely lately and I have gotten so used to such little sexual activity, that it seems as though my desire is low now! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol Sad

Lol that is wonderful news! I am so happy to hear that Carla. I am working on it... We. We are working on it. I need to get this birth control situation under control first and foremost. I wish I could find one that wouldn't affect my desire, mood or physical body. Ah, well. Ya can't have your cake and eat it too, can ya? Wink

I'm afraid I am in the same boat. I'm not sure if it is due to my depression meds or being physically exhausted keeping up with my 2 girls who are ages 6 yrs and 2 yrs. I'm ready to pass out IF the insomnia doesn't appear that night. I refuse to rest or let this disease interfer with my lifestyle or being a full-time active Mom. Hubby is so frustrated as we moved from TX to WA in October (4 months ago at this point) and we've had sex twice since our move.
