I'm an Advocate

I was thinking about my life on suboxone- and I actually have a life with suboxone! LOL! Anyway, I think about these things pretty regularly.

Here's something rather remarkable that happened to me just a few days ago. I was stopped at a light and the car behind me rolled into me. It was quite an impact! I jumped and tensed, of course. The pain was immediate and pretty bad. It was centered in my back, right between my shoulder blades and radiating down my spine.

I was only about 5 minutes from home and I was still in quite a bit of pain when I got there. So I popped a couple of vicodin right away.

But here is where suboxone comes in- I WAS PERFECTLY FINE BY THE NEXT MORNING!!! Pretty freaking amazing in my book. I remember quite well what kind of flare that would have brought on previously!

Do you know that these days I can even get down on the floor again?!?! It's so amazing to have my life back!
