LOL summer I was going to say the same thing about the boat sinking. I know the pain you are in as I seem to hurt in all those places also. I have always refered to this syndrome as traveling pain. My pain never stays in one place too long - except for my constant lower back pain. Lately it has been my legs and bottoms of my feet that are giving me the most problem. The pain in the legs is so bad it wakes me up. I look like a 100 yr old woman when I get out of bed in the morning.....bent over, shuffling my feet, etc.

I hope you get some relief soon.

Maggie

You're...
My friend,
My companion,
Through good times and bad,
My friend,
My buddy,
Through happy and sad,
Beside me you stand,
Beside me you walk,
You're there to listen,
You're there to talk,
With happiness,
With smiles,
With pain and tears,
I know you'll be there, throughout the years!
You are all good friends to me and I am grateful to you.

Thanks Maggie. My husband can usually tell (I don't even notice half the time, you know, high pain tolerence) when I start to walk like Igor in "Young Frankenstein." I think it was him..."Walk this way." I try not to get out of bed, but I have to pee, so you know. I can't do it in a bottle. Thought about it. My husband even said he'd help me so I wouldn't have to walk down stairs. Maybe I've said too much.

It's the pain, yeah, that's it. And the drugs. My pain is always in the lower half, and in my neck. and my back, so I guess it's everywhere, but it;s the intensity.

You are funny summer. I know what you mean about peeing. I wake up during the night with such a full bladder but hate the thoughts of getting out of bed so I try to fall back to sleep. A few minutes later I wake back, and this time it is really full (to the point where I think I am going to wet myself and all surrounding areas). Then when I go to get out of bed I am hurting so bad that I am afraid I am not going to make it to the bathroom in time.

Igor, I like that..... WALK LIKE ME!! We probably do look like that.

It's funny, isn't it, that our husbands or someone else knows when we are in real bad pain before we even notice it ourselves? I guess that is because we live it all the time......I don't know.

We will be married 40 yrs (YIKES! that is a looooong time) in May and I still worry that my husband will say he's had enough and decides to walk out on me.....I know he wouldn't but it still worries me. Who wants to be married to someone who can't do the things we used to do together? We used to bike together, walk through the woods at the State Park near our home or even just walk around the neighborhood, go kayaking. Although this yr I have made up my mind no matter how painful it is to get in and out of our tandem kayak I am going to go with him. He always tells me he will do all the paddling and I can just sit back and enjoy the ride.

And so I really got off the subject here (as usual). I can see now why my dad always called me Gabby when I was a kid

Just keep thinking "A drug will soon be found to help us all".

Maggie

Summer that sounds par for the course...my legs, back, but...EVERYTHING hurts. LOL

When I saw the Doc last Friday he was touching around and was like ok, tell me when it hurts. (This is me ----> That hurts...hurts...hurts...OUCH HURTS...hurts...hurts....hurts...hurts..hurts..hurts.hurts. Finally he says, ok, let's try this, tell me when it doesn't hurt. (Then you could almost hear crickets chirp outside! HAHAHA)

I think my boat didn't have a plug in the bottom and the bottom of the boat was.....SWISS CHEESE. LOL

Pamela {please}

I wish tons of love and hugs!

Don't you love that question...tell me where it hurts? I usually say, "You don't have the time."

But when I start, they get the picture. I start at the head and go down, or start at the toes and go up. My feet & ankles, well, where on you're feet...the toes, joints, skin, nodules under the skin and they are swollen (sometimes, then I don't stop. I'm not sure if they like it, but it gives them an idea...if you talk to them like they talk to you (sometimes like idiots), it gets the job done. SOmetimes not, but it makes you feel better.
