Hi All,

Yesterday I attended a lecture in which Apitherapy was mentioned.

I didn't researched it myself so I don't know much about it, but it was described as a treatment that was beneficial for some people at least, when everything else failed.

I was wondering if anyone heard about it or tried it.

Hi David,

Thanks for your questions. Unfortunately I've done little research on the subject myself and have not heard anyone describe an experience while being treated by this method.

It, like all holistic treatments, I believe have very tempting messages as alternatives to drug regiments that most of us end up being treated with. I would love nothing more than to use a bee bi-product and get rid of my overflowing containers of medications.

I hope someone that has had experiences with this chimes in and let's us know what they thought of it.

Thank you again for your post.

Hi Suzee,

As far as I know, and I'm no expert, bee sting/venom came to be known as effective w/ neurological symptoms, such as MS patients suffer from.

I wouldn't know about Arthritis, but you can read a bit about it:

You can start here.

And another article by Steven Novella, MD called Bee Venom Therapy.

good luck!

Thanks a bunch for the info! But, I'm allergic to bee stings, so I don't think it's something that will work for me! **LOL**

Never hurts to ask though...

Hope you have an AWESOME day!
