"I have fibromyalgia." (Deke)

MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunny_fly)

I was just prescribed meclizine 25 mg for my horrible dizziness, but the bottle says it may cause dizziness.

Now I'm confused.

Any thoughts on why I would be prescribed this?

I can handle sleepy, maybe then I would actually be able to sleep. I took it and right now at least I am not dizzy *sigh of relief* I just hope it is what helped and it keeps helping, that was really awful.

Yeah, you'ren probably right, I just thought it odd that a med that was supposed to allieviate dizziness, actually causes it, it just seems silly.

Hi hon, I have read labels that have said the same thing. Before they put a drug on the market they have test subjects and apparently in their test, some patients reported dizziness. So when the drug comes out on the market, they have to warn you if it could make you dizzy. Does that help?
Hugs and Prayers For A Better Pain Day,
