HI just my few cents on the patches... I have been on them for the past 7 months, started at 25MCG every 72 hrs., turned into 100mcg every 48 hours with the suckers to be taken as needed they were the 600mcg.

MY life has been aliving hell with this stuff, I am now going through withdrawals,, taking some Suboxone when needed but that is almost as bad... so mostly suffering...

The patches only made the pain worse..... much much much worse...... and now the withdrawals on top of it......

It has made me very suicidal, I have never even thought of it before... even with the RSD and Fibro.

The pain now is off the charts.....

I have had new pains that I have never experienced, before I took the patches.....

Just for history I have taken almost every other type of Narcotic pain med there is ...... and have had bad reactions to them..... so my doctor in his defense was just doing the only thing left in his arsonal to help me......

I do not feel that I am a good canidate for spinal stimulation because of the problems I have with meds

thanks for listening....

Craig

Hang in there Craig!! Have you talk to your dr about Lyrica yet? Some are receiving relief of there fibro symtoms with it. I've been taking it for 3 months and have had good success with my nerve pain. I still have back pain but that's about it.

Hi... I have been taking Lyrica for about 7 months now.... The side effects seem to be the biggest problem with it... they have put me on Privigil now to help keep me awake or at least alert. But when they put me on the Fentanyl, my pain went from a 7.0 to a 10++ at its worst.

before averaged 5.5 to 6.0 after on Fentanyl averaged a solid 9.0.

Nothing helped at that point.... They put me on the Fentanyl sucker

600mcg to use when ever I needed them.... But they did little to help except to make me sick and itch like a mad man....... they now have me on Suboxone to help with the withdrawals... but it also makes me very sick to my stomach.....

Pain tonight......up right now we are in low spot, thank GOD!!

It has been almost off the chart......

Good ole chicken soup is what you need!! I found that Nauzene chewables at Walgreens work great for stomach issues. They are cherry flavored so easy to get down too. I assume you have tried tramadol too? It is non-narcotic but seems to help with muscle pain.

Well if you like the natural route I suggest www.evenbetternow.com, I am currently detoxing heavy metals and have found the clay bathes wonderful for removing metals and toxins. They also have a biochelate fomula that I'm using. Its a very useful site. I am personally trying to go natural if I can. I'm tired of the dr's at this point i've seen 27 myself, they haven't did a whole lot for me. I'm usually around if need someone to talk to just pm me.
