I do take this medication and it definitely helps with an electrical shock that would start in the back of my skull and spread out towards my ears, front of skull, eyes, then down to my fingertips. Seemed like any kind of slight movement, even thought, would trigger these terrible shocks and it would seriously siphon all energy out of me.

When my doc prescribed 50mg a day I was loopy and I would wake up not knowing who I was or where I was. I scared my wife big time. Sometimes I would lose entire chunks of a day. Then he lowered it to 25 mg and it works outstanding. Sometimes I up it when I feel it coming back on a little stronger, like the dam is overflowing, but for the most part this drug works for me. I don't know about seizures though. I still had and have seizure regardless of being on this medication, but thank goodness for it for the other horrible symptoms.

I have taken Topamax too. It worked for my migraines, but my feet would start tingling almost like they were asleep. I work in a Neurology clinic and I started seeing our Migraine specialist. The last time I saw him he changed me to Namenda. I know this is for Alzheimer's and dementia. But this has helped even more. It has not been approved for Migraines, but this dr does alot of research. sometimes ins won't pay for it if it is prescribed for something it is not approve for.
