MDJunction to me

carmen33"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

I still have not been able to find a caution between caffiene and Lyrica. I have not however had the chance to get your particular book. I did go on a site called Drugs.com that has an area to check for interactions and caffiene did not comeup. I'm still searching though

I just started taking Lyrica about a month ago. I have had awful leg and hip pain for about 3 weeks now and am wondering if the two could be connected?? I have never had leg pain like this pain before and didn't know if it was just another part of fibro or if it had something to do with the medicine.

I'm an Advocate

Lauren, Not with me, Lyrica got rid of my leg pain. I had horrible leg pain before taking in and within a week of taking it my leg pain went away. Never know though every med seems to work differently on different people. I would think that if it was the Lyrica it would have showed up before now. Hope you feel better soon.
I'm not a dr, anything stated in my post are from my own personal experiences.

I am a Herbalife distributor and have been trained in nutrition and weightloss. If you have any questions please send me a pm.

Never give up the fight we are all in this together.

I have to say that my back and leg pain did improve. However I had alot of trouble with my feet just about the second to third week. At first I started getting back feeling I didn't realize I lost. then they started hurting real bad because I could feel it all of a sudden but after about a week and a half it settled down and now it doesn't hurt and I still have feeling. So maybe it's like that for you. Your feeling something that you had lost and hopefully it will settle back down. OK does that make any sense. I encourage you to hang in there with the Lyrica. If the pain gets too bad discuss it with your Dr. Good luck

Request Your Information Kit About LYRICA and Fibromyalgia can be found on this webpage: http://www.lyrica.com/content/fibromyalgia_sign_up.jsp? setShowOn=../content/fibromyalgia_sign_up.jsp&setShowHighlightOn=../content/fibromyalgia_sign_up.jsp

I have been taking Lyrica for about 2 months now and it works for my nerve pain, but not any other type of pain. I have to take my regular pain medication prescribed by my Pain Management doctor and if I take both at the same time, I feel lightheaded. Because of the drowsy side effects, I take 150 mg in the a.m. and 300 at night.

I was having nerve pain that was like bolts of lightning hitting my sacrum, causing panic disorder and that has stopped since taking Lyrica.

Hi. The Lyrica helped my nerve pain in my sacrum area, and some in my spine - nerve pain only.

It makes me really drowsy and when taken with my MS-Contin, I feel lightheaded. I have been taking it almost 2 months now and it's okay. I'm not having panic attacks anymore because the Lyrica has stopped the lightning bolts from hitting my sacrum.
