Tryin, I tried Lyrica for a month. At first i felt dizzy and high and felt like I was going to fall over whether I was sititng or standing. That went away pretty fast, about a week or so. I had headaches every day, not really bad but always there. Then my hands and feet started to swell and when they swelled, what used to feel like tingles & tickles turned into numbness & burning...bad burning--but it really seemed to help with muscle pain which is weird 'cuz it's supposed to make nerve pain better and have no effect on muscle pain (according to my doc, anyway). I also gained 10 lbs in one month. I'm taking Cymbalta and flexeril now and feel much better, I'm not hungry all the time and my hands and feet aren't swollen. rayne >^.^< |

I tried Lyrica 3 times I felt really wacky and Didnt think I could work and take it I had enough trouble being alert with fibro fog and sleep apnea.I gave it another shot at a much smaller dose and felt about the same, stopped then felt lousy. My Mom said I should have taken it longer to see how it was after a few weeks so I gave it another whirl. I ate like a pig and felt like a zombie! No thanks! The last thing I need is to be more depressed and gain more weight, I would hurt more than ever and the cycle continues.
