Hi Cindy,

Have you heard of Reike? I think it's similar to Nin Shyn Jytusu.

I wanted to learn how to do it but the nearest place is about 3 hrs away from where I live.

I'm a reiki master if you guys need any tips let me know. I have been doing reiki for years now. You can learn on your own how to open yourself up to reiki. I always use it on myself it has helped so much. I think everyone should try it at least once.

Rei-means universal..Ki-is life energy or some people call it Chi. Its working with the energy in the body. Its helps with keeping the bodies energy flowing. Sometimes energy points in the body can get blocked due to negitive energy or maybe having surgries. The reiki master will pull the neg energy or you can do it yourself. It was used as a japanese technique to reduce stress. It brings you to your higher self to bring healing energy whether its emotionally or phsyically. I love it i use it all the time. I have helped many of my friends and family. You can even do distant healings and send engery.I always tell people try it once its so relaxing.

Wendy, would love to learn from both you and Smiley too. May I pass the instructions for both on to my sister in Virginia? She's the one who told me about Reike. If it's easy enough, I can show my neighbor and her husband. She has fibro and he has terrible back problems.

Thanks bunches. I hate taking pills and any alternative healing method would be a god send to me.

Fibro hugs to you both

Jan

I have nooo problem walking you though it. It does take sometime though. Its a process of opening yourself up to the healing engeries. If its ok to pm you...I can get ya started. Feel free to share with your sister and neighbor...I don't mind..it really helps on all diff levels. If your really into meditation that helps because thats the first thing is opening up your chakras. Just let me know.. its not hard you will enjoy it.

Hi,

I would certainly love to help anyone who would like to try it. yes, it is very close to reiki. I know a few people who are not only reiki masters but also Nin Shin practitioners as well. They both work with the energy flows in the body. Yes, please, if anyone has more questions, pm me with your phone number, and I will be happy to look things up for you to help yourself, as well as someone else simply by intent on doing so.

To answer your question Kathy,Reiki and Nin shin is neither a "mind over matter" thing, or a body workout. It is simply accepting letting your body do what it is meant to do. To heal itself with the energy flows of the body.

In Nin Shin, start by holding your fingers, one at a time while you are relaxing and watching television in the evening. and every commercial, switch fingers. after the fingers are finished, do the same thing to the palm of your hand.

It does work!

I used to have very bad asthma problems. I followed Nin Shin and I am asthma attack free for 5 years now.

Cindy
