Most of you guys know that I had multiple breaks in my left leg and ankle, and had 4 surgeries in 3 years to repair it. (In Feb. 1999)

That being said.

I was lying at home, on the 4th day after the breaks, 2nd day home. I felt my left leg stop hurting. (i know) I felt it go away, slow enough to almost 'watch'. Then about 20 seconds later, my RIGHT leg felt everything that my LEFT leg was suppose to. It lasted probably a whole minute and a half (thats a long time to pay attention to something so weird). I mean to tell you, I tested it! I tried to turn my toes inward, and almost threw up, the pain shot was almost blinding. (just like it had been in my left) Then the pain slowly returned to the place it was supposed to be.

It lasted long enough for me to call my dad while it was happening, (it freaked me out!, time to call daddy) he said it may be the pain reliever messing with me, Advil was the strongest thing I had ever taken... (what else could it be right?)

When I got this bundle of bologna I knew nothing. When I found out that the theory was a brain thing, I knew that, that day is the day I got it.

Has aaaaaaanyone else had anything obscurely similar happen to them?

hoping we all have a happy day tomorrow!

I know the exact day mine started - but no strange sensations - mine started with an extreme fever & pneumonia. As simple as that! I thought the ache was from the fever - but it NEVER went away.

I developed fibro after receiving a tetanus shot in 1/2006. I started having pain within days of having the shot and the pain has stuck around since.

You never know.. and you certaintly can't beat yourself up.. you may have gotten sick and gotten it anyway - it seems to me, if you are going to get it - you do. Don't play the blame game - it takes too much energy!
