I have had the sweats since I was got stricken with fibro Jan 2000, its not meds cause I am not on any other than my thyroid, but I also found out I am going through early menopause at 42 so I thought it was that.

I'm also sensitive to temperature changes, not just the sweating. I went for pool therapy yesterday and it was really hot in the pool area. I felt light headed because it was so hot in there (to me it was) and I started sweating all of a sudden. But I was able to get into the pool after that to cool down. For me I guess you can say that I'm just very sensitive now along with the sweats.

I am very sensitive to alot of things too. The heat, humidity, sounds, smells and other things too. Sometimes my skin gets real sensitive and I can't stand to have anything to touch my skin. I wear baggy clothes alot because they don't bother my skin.

I have the same problem. I am not sure of the cause and have found no relief. If you hear of anything, let me know.

I also cannot sleep in clothes as I get to hot or to cold or it's just bugging me. I am more sensitive now definitely and I have read that it is a symptom of fibro, so it's not all in your head.

Well, since I sleep on our recliner in the livingroon I don't think being naked. I would be there handing out barf bags for $$.

I sweat all the time. I left little puddles in K-Mart and WalMart today. My best friend told me that she was telling the gals where she works that I'm the only person she knows that can sweat in A/C or standing outside in the snow. It's true. I asked my cardiologist about it. He said to keep my vitamins and minerals under check because sweating depletes them. Each time I went into the hospital my potassium level was at 2.2 the first time and 2.0 the second time.

He also said that it is heriditary. My mother used to sweat alot and so did my dad so I'm doomed.

thanks for the kodak moments broken and barb.

Hugs and wishes for a dry bed tonight.

Jan
