Has anyone else heard of this? I have started some research into this treament and at this point it is some interesting reading. I would be interested to hear from someone who has actually tried this for Fibro. It involves the use of medicines marketed for respiratory mucus problems.

The site is :

A specialist that I was seeing shortly after I my dx put me on it! It did nothing! BUT...I have had very 'different' reactions to A LOT of the 'normal' meds that are used for Fibro...so don't count my vote! LOL

I wish you the best~

again with my two cent (no wonder I'm so broke!)

I posted this somewhere else here. I bought the book I changed shampoos, I read labels, I shopped completely differently. I did my best not to use, or ingest any salicylate for about 7 months.

It did indeed hurt like well, it hurt insanely for the first few days. Then I thought I was feeling better, so I continued, increasing the amount just as I read to do. At the end, my fingernails were thin, my hair was thin, and not silky. There is something wrong with that protocol.

But, some people think its the cat's meow... however I haven't heard of anyone since, that continued it for long term for varias reasons.

But hey, try it... you may find it to be something that works for you! And keep us posted along the journey.

oh, I just re-read above, and Mr. Shaperio, being on top of things as usual... gave you links, so I probably wrote this for nothing...

daftness, or fibro fog... hmmm.

your comments are better, you actually tried it.

Personally I don't know how anyone could possibly stick to it very long & I rarely leave the house!

It wasn't all that difficult, after I got use to it. I had a print out with a lot of the products that I had to replace.

I should always note, and I always forget to. After I stopped, I felt worse... But it could have been my body adjusting to 'normal' life. But I still contend, bring on those salicylate baby! hahaha...!
