Hi everyone.....thank you so much!!!

I'm doing the best I can right now trying to hold myself together with out going insane!!!

Yes they are testing her for other diseases such as leukemia, chron's, and other things. I'm really worried about the lekemia one. She has been losing weight, tired alot and has more than 5 swollen joints.

The specialist said she had JRA for sure....it is just figuring out if there is more going on and what type she has.

I have been reading alot about this and going to be ready when we see the doctor next time. I have alot of questions for her!!!

Thanks again! You're all wonderful friends to have!!! Love you all! Chris

Your Friend, Chris

I am so sorry to hear about your little one. I too will be thining of her. They have meds. even for little ones for the pain and they should give them to her. YOu are her mother so let them know what you think about her pain and any other conditions you see. You are her mother and know her better than anyone else. God Bless

Even though she is two, tell her EVERYTHING. I remember when I would go into Sick Kid's hospital for even just a check up, let alone surgery, my parents didn't tell me things at first and I felt so alone, terrified and worst of all betrayed by my mommy and daddy for leaving me with people that would hurt me. After awhile they did tell me everything. She maybe young but she will understand and it will help her to not feel as scared. Also tell her how you are feeling and let her talk to you about how she feels and how she feels about how you feel; This is very important! THis will connect you and she will feel more loved and a part of the family and not just the freak that has problems and goes to the doctor. Talk to her about your own physical problems and all the good and bad feelings and issues. YOu will bond more then any other if you open up and share everything. Yes it might take a bit of trying to find the right way to explain things so that she does understand; She may not also let it really sink in for a bit but when it does she will love you for being honest and open with her and this will give her more strength.

I wish you a bit of peace.
