MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

I just got back form JC Penney's, and I saw the 80's screamingout at me from almost every rack there. Scared the hell out of me!!! The 80's fashions were not cool then, and in my opinion, they never will be! Sick

The 80s? Like corsettes and ruffley short skirts? Or was it all punk? Were the make up counter and perfume counter girls all made up like the 80's too? WITH BIG HAIR and lots of makeup?

I graduated HS in 87 and kind of liked the tapered leg jean..I'll be honest I Like the stone wash too! lol

With Him we "live" no matter the circumstances. At His feet peace of mind can be found. Peace that passes all understanding is my quest now and forever.

Leggins, you can't forget the leggins. With the plaid flannel logger shirts.

(ok, I admit, that part is actually really comfortable, but I would not be caught dead in public wearing it!)

Why oh why hasn't someone passed a law against anyone manufacturing skinny jeans or leggings in MY size? Even with a tunic, some of us should NEVER been seen in public with our legs tightly encased in anything containing spandex!!

Lol I thought that about the 70's flare legged jeans...I COULDNT STAND to see a teen in the mall wearing them and dragging the floor and walking all over the bottoms of them!!! THEN they had the flare bell bottoms with hip huggers that showed your butt crack?!?!?

Ewe! lol NOT shoulder-pads!!! And, sorry I never liked tapered pants - I'm more of a straight-leg gal... But, I will admit I've been thinking about throwing together some cute outfits with plain black leggings and some nice long tunic type blouses.... I've seen it where it can actually be very flattering on curvy figures like mine (see how I say curvy...lol) How funny though - who would have thought the 80s would EVER come back?! Not I... lol
