Hello everyone, My 2 year old daughter has been having trouble with her left hip/leg for a month or so. She will wake up and not be able to walk for several hours. At first I thought she slept on it wrong or sprained something. For the past couple of days it has been really bad and her leg is stiff as a board for a few hours. She will eventually walk but her leg stays stiff. I took her to her doctor today and they did x-rays. Nothing showed up. They drew blood from both arms and I'm waiting for the results. The doctor thought that it may be fibro, arthritis, or lupus because I have those disorders. Has anyone ever heard of a small child developing fibro or any of the other things I mentioned? Any advice would be most appreciated. Okay, to top off my bad day! My 8 year old son has had an infection in his jaw for the past week. He had a molar pulled on Friday. They said he would have to have surgery on Monday if the medication didn't work to get rid of it. I brought him in on Monday and they did a ct-scan. They called me and said it was just swelling and he didn't need to have surgery. The doctor still needed to read the scan and they would call on Tuesday. I didn't hear anything Tuesday so I figured it was OKay! NOT!!!  They called me this morning and wanted me to bring him in today for the surgery. I was on my way to the doctor with my daughter, he was at school, so I couldn't. So now he is scheduled for surgery tomorrow at noon! I won't be on much, because he will be in the hospital, and I'm going to stay with him! I'm going crazy with worry for both of them!  It has been a very bad week and I just need some help from my friends here! Thank you for reading this and letting me get it out! I hope that everyone is doing well!
