As many of you know I am in the hospital for a video eeg. Its a 72 hour test that is basically like being on a reality tv show because everything you say and do is recorded.

Well this morning real early I guess I got up out of bed to use the restroom and when I got back to my bed I guess the nurses said I sat on my bed and spaced out and had as they call it an "episode" My husband said I was twiching and all I remember is he was holding me and I was sobbing crying.

My head was hurting so bad and I still have a slight headache. They have a girl doing clinicals from Purdue University in here today so she gave me my meds. They gave me Tylenol for my headache and I told here that that wasnt gonna do the trick. She said but its 650 mg.. I said and your point is.....

Anyway I tried really hard to be nice to here but I was in pain... geez!

I'm so sorry to hear that you had this happen and that they are not treating your pain with the meds you know will work. Gotta love Indiana.

I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

I'm sorry for what you are going through, not that you want it to happen, but is it a good thing that they were able to capture this?

I can't believe they couldn't give you more than Tylenol, maybe it has something to do with the test. I hope you get some answers real soon.

Yes.. it is really good that they caught this on tape because It will help in my ss disability claim. I am hoping it will anyway. And the fact that I will be diagnosed with epilepsy also and by a specialist not just a family doctor (that also helps in your case I have heard)

I dont know for certain I will be clinically diagnosed with epilepsy, but... technically it is if a person has two or more seizures.

Well, seriously.... that fits me

I'm sorry to hear that you may be getting diagnosed with Epilepsy, but I'm happy for you that your hospital stay with your disability case.

You take care & I hope your fever goes away.

In TN 1 documented seizure per week will get you SSD. I don't know how many weeks in succession you have to have one.
