I am looking for things that would help me with everyday life, does anybody have anything.Though, this might not sound to different from what other ppl go through i struggle a lot. i walk 20 mins to my classes from my dorm, about 10 minutes to most of my classes a day then turn around write about 5-10 pages of notes everyday. right now i currently use a computer for most of assignments and a cell phone to type my notes in class when i can't even hold a pencil/pen. But i live in a place where the climate change drastically every single day. it get hot/cold as i don't know what then it storms and water is everywhere. I mostly have my computer on me like every other day and i do not do rolling backpacks (bad experience with steps and water, and also it rains to much where i go to school at) (and i got 42 stairs in my building and about 20 outside steps, an incline, then a hill and something else), does anybody know wat companies sell weather-proof bookbags that also is good for your back if you most carry one. so far i have only looked at jansport but i can't find anything and if you have anything else that may help me plz tell me[/color]

Hello and welcome.

The very first think I would suggest is get a tape recorder and then you dont have to write notes. you can just go back and listen to the class.

With all the stairs, get a good muscel relaxer. and maybe a warning foot bath.

I thing that others here might have some ideas.

Welcome to the forum.

Wow, you are up against some pretty tough things. The tape recorder is a great idea, it you are allowed to use one. that would be the first thing I would buy. It got me through school. As far as a backpack, I would try LLBean and Lands End. They are sure to have something.

It must be a long day for you walking to class, and then the class itself and then walking back and then the stairs. I wish you luck with school. What are you studying?

First, let me say welcome to our "fibro family" The whole group has a lot of answers.

However I read a magazine while at the docs and there was an article there about the elderly and how to distribute the weisgt evenly. It was a harness like the ones "Helping dogs" used. it show all the space that would hold books, etc. So you might want to google for caring dogs, I can't think of what they are called. But the harnnes had all kinds of pockets and stuff for cell phones, etc'
