MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is somewhere i feel safe i feel i can be myself and not be judged. I love the fact that i get to see that im not alone in what i am going through and i also get the chance to help others on their journey through guidance and communication.
I would truly be lost without MDJunction... to me its my savior, my personal place to go where i don’t feel so alone anymore in the world.

people i know find it weird that i make jokes about myself when i am in major fibro pain.but that is way i deal with the pain. i am not one to ball like a baby in pain. even when i was in labor i was cracking jokes. i think were like that because it helps us cope with our pains that no one understands unless they are in our shoes. my best friend has lupus and cp and she is the same way. if she in not cracking jokes about her pain then you know its SEVERE pain.

I think you so right dee, and I think the artistic part comes from expressing our pain.

I think so too Kaze. It's probably because we have to joke around rather than sit down and cry all the time (not that crying is wrong.)

I agreee with Maineiac. No one around me wants to hear me complain or whine about how I'm feeling, so I just joke about it. Somedays I think if I didn't joke about it I would explode and all that would be left on the floor would be a set of lips and a pair of shoes!!!

I think this is what is great about the forums. We can come here and complain and take some of the stress off those around us who are probably sick of hearing about it!!!Ha Ha
