Maggie

Thanks Kaze, her name is Maggie. She is a 6 month old wirehair dachshund. She is a little devil. I also have two others....Lily is a piebald dachshund and Clancy is a chocolate and tan doxie...he is 15 yrs old and Lily is 18 months old.

I posted Maggie's picture to see if I remembered how to do it from the other night. It took me a little bit before I remembered. This time I wrote it down so I would remember

I would love to see a picture of your Maltese.

Well I have to go. Have to take my granddaughter to Brownies.

Hugs, Maggie

Thanks Maineiac, Maggie is a real sweetie but she sure gets into a lot of trouble, . I keep forgetting that now that she is a little bigger she can jump up and reach the top of the coffee table. Well last night I left my glasses on there and I was sitting using my laptop and could hear her chewing on something. Yep, you guessed it, she had my glasses and by the time I realized what she was chewing on the glasses were history. The frames are so mangled that there is no way the optometrist can fix them and the lenses are all scratched from her razor-sharp baby teeth.

I wanted to mention also that Maggie is sitting on the open door of my dishwasher in the picture. Everytime I open the door to put dirty dishes in there she jumps right up on the door and sits there or tries to lick the plates

Oh Maggie....sorry to hear about your glasses, but I had to chuckle. Same kind of thing happened to me, except it was my upper 'denture' that got all chewed up. So $1000 later, I was able to once again smile and eat food!

LOL Tuffy, At least my glasses will be a bit cheaper than your uppers. I have had 7 dogs and never did I have one like my Maggie. She just constantly looks for things to get into. Forget about finding something you drop on the floor, she is there quick as lightning. I have always wanted a wire hair dachshund because I have read where they are the clowns of the dachshund family. You have no idea how true this is. Everytime I tell my daughter about something she did, Jen always reminds me that I wanted a "clown"

I hope you are doing well on the pain level scale. I sometimes thing that each day I feel a little worse than the day before. Now that the weather is turning a little warmer....today it is 77....maybe I will start feeling better. I am going to get my lawn lounge chair out and sit in the sun for a bit. Maybe I'll even fall asleep. I am always so tired. Just told my husband this morning that I think I could sleep around the clock given the chance.

Have a good day!

Maggie
