I agree with auggie that we need a person to be the contact person. Someone to represent the fibro group here. We thought it best to ask the group for a volunteer.

AngelBoozer THAT IS GREAT!!!

you should share it

as i keep saying the INDIVIDUAL story is the strongest!!! It is the "sniper" dead on -- shot!!! Way to go.

guys? For those who want to sign theri own letter -- should i just cut the "how to write your own letter" guidelines over to "articles"? It came from the NFA.

BTW -- the PR awareness piece will go out on MON & TUES.

ANGEL? please PM me too. I can't use it on a "blast" BUT i could always offer it IF someone calls me instead and it could be add'l info.....

May 12 is not that far off, so we really need to start getting them emails out. People need time to do some research.

I am going to do as many as I can.

I am also packing because we are moving next month. So if I am not around so much, you know why. I will still be checking in.

Yea Ladies What I was going to do is scan it when I get it then put it on My articles area so that everyone that reads it can and if you want a copy just let me know and when I get it on the comp then I can email you a copy of it.

You know what is Bad? There is a Fibromyalgia Expo in this town about 30 miles from me and my family lives there but no one knew about it until last night. So I can not get in there to see what it is about but there was no advertising about it at all. How do they expect to get people into going if they do not advertise until the night before? I don't know?

Oh well, talk to you all later.

{{Soft & Gentle Hugs}} to all of you.

Rita

Hello everyone

Looks like things are progressing nicely. I'd love to have a copy of any letters for a template. My email is pamelagraham@centurytel.net.

My sons eye procedures went wonderfully!!!! The Keratoconus (eye disease that leads one way...to blindness)is totally gone now we are told. This Dr in LA is truly magnificent!! A real miracle worker, and we are so happy he saved my sons eyes!!!!

I had a little accident on the way home from the trip with my son to get his eye procedures done to save his corneas and fell on the plane and hurt my leg/knee and ankle. They put me in 2 walking air cast things and crutches. I can NOT do crutches!! lol So I'm in and out of the office here but will be trying to check in as much as possible. All my life I've been a go go person, and I've determined I'm not letting all my conditions get me down, and this leg thing won't either!! (I have to confess, after a week of go go go from early in the morning till late at night, the first 3 days home I slept day and night!! Still tired too! blah lol)

Lots of love and soft hugs to all my wonderful friends.

oh PS there are more designs up at www.cafepress.com/artisticability for Fibro Awareness Day, any day, and getting a message across to Dr's or others who treat us invisable. I'm already picking out what I will wear on my next Dr appt!! LOL

OH PSPS The site www.invisableillness will be getting more work done on it this week. I do have some articles up, some good links and things, but will be adding more. Hope it helps anyone looking for more info on the invisibles.

Pamela {please}

I wish tons of love and hugs!

Welcome back Pam, I'm happy to see ya. If I was a dog, my tail would be wagging. I'm glad your son's eye surgery was a success. Now all you have to do is get back on your feet. We are going away for a few days this week and I went shopping today for purple things to wear. I got the ribbon from Rita and I'm planning on wearing it on Wednesday and Thursday at the Casino. I can tell warmer weather is coming cause the pain is moving from my shoulders into my legs again. It got so bad I went out and bought a cane today. Wonder if I could make a long skinny sticky something or other in purple to put on the cane. Maybe I'll look into that when I get home.

Paint would do it. Thanks for the welcome back and the well wishes and congrats. I tell you, I'd go through this with my leg ANYTIME if it meant my son was better. His Keratoconus was progressing faster and 2 weeks before our trip it was to the point he couldn't see to read or be on the computer to do his homework. When the Dr showed us the results the next day I swear if I could have jumped out of my skin I would have....I felt like I was! I was happy, giddy, hugging EVERYONE, telling everyone in the waiting area how miraculous the Doc is and how he saved my son!! (They probably all thought I was nuts...or on something! LOL)

Hope you have a great trip Jan and if you are there to play....Prayers and Angels with you to help you win. I know what all this does to our pocket books. I hope you win big enough to pay everything off, put up a nest egg for rainy days, have spending cash and enough for some extra goodies!!
