I just have to tell you guys this story: It was SuperBowl Sunday and I was adding water to my goldfish tank. I only have three, two orange and 1 yellow. Well my yellow one was just sitting on the bottom of the tank not really moving around so I got to looking at it and it had one of the little gravel rocks in its mouth! It had sucked it into its throat and couln't breath. So I got the net and caught him and was trying to pull the rock out with my fingers but he would suck in and then I would pull then he would suck in again. We were getting no where. Now remember this is just a fish but he was suffing...So I picked him up in my hands and acidentilly squeezed its belly and POOF! The rocks shot right out across the fish tank! I got to laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee my pants My husband walked in and asked what was so funny so I told him and he just looked at me and went back outside. I did the Heimlich on my little fish

Ok so it dosn't take much to amuse me. But I know my little fish was very thankful. Kaze

Awwww.......that is just so amazing, just what I needed to hear.

We...with all of our issues, pain, depression, etc...have more compassion and understanding when we see something suffering than most people who are in the field of caring and compassion.

Thank you for sharing that!

Kaze, I just read this and you cracked me up I can just picture you doing the heimlich on your little goldfish! Is he doing ok now? What a lucky fish to have such a wonderful caregiver like you!! I think it's true that we can certainly understand suffering better than some others.

(You say your hubby just walked right back outside without even saying anything - sooo, is this just normal behavior for you??!!) Just Kidding!!

I loved this story! Thanks for making me smile today!
