 I am having a real hard time today. My pain shot through the fu@^#$#$ roof. I call the pain dr. THEM B---s will not see me without an appointment. My reg. dr will not see me because he doesn't know what to do. I am so frustrated and crying that I just want to crawl in a hole and stay there.

My hubby, bless his heart, tries to help, but doesn't know how, so he just listens when I cry. I'm crying now, he's asleep, I can't wake him.

I am tired of this sh-t. heck, I'm tired, hurting, frustrated and angry... Anything but smiley at the moment.

I thank you for letting me get it out.

 I know exactly where your at right now.I call my mom at least three times a week crying. She started crying last night afraid I was going to kill myself if I keep be neglected by the medical professionals.

I assured her that I will not do such a thing.

 I had a horrible day yesterday. On the phone 7 times to the dr's office trying to get my regular scripts written, thet STILL won't call me back, I've been calling since last Friday saying I'm out. They just don't give a shit. I cried all day in pain and frustration and here we go again today. You are SO not alone, I am curled up in a ball on a chair and I'm not moving until I get my medicine or go to the hospital.

 Leslie,

I am so sorry you have pain. I wish I could do something for you.

Do you have someone to take you to the hospital or to the doctor's office?

I am not telling you what to do, but before I spent another day like you had yesterday, I would go to either of those two places. You could go to the doctors and sit until they write the scripts or you can tell them you are checking into the hospital.

 I just called them again and they said that HE has my chart on his desk right now so I should be getting a call shortly. If I call them a week ahead of time they tell me it's too soon, if I wait a few days before I'm due, I go thru this... The receptionist act like your an addict and are extremely rude, it's unacceptable. Luckily my dr loves me and I will have a serious chat about the receptionists on my next appt. It might work. I'm trying not to wish fibro on them but its hard not to think nasty thoughts like that sometimes. Oh, and thank you Sandi, I REALLY needed someone to respond to me and not make me feel like an idiot.

 I'm glad the doctor's has the chart. It shouldn't take very long for him to okay the scripts. Now don't let the staff let it sit until they have other scripts to phone in (Or do you pick yours up?), I would call them back and say you are on you way in to pick them up (if you have a ride) They should be ready by the time you get there. It only takes a few minutes to review a chart. Actually the nurse could have had eveything ready and only needed his signature. Anyway, there should be no reason for any further delay in you getting your meds.

Do you think we should organize a FIBRO GANG to make sure we are treated with respect and dignity? We could were black T-shirts with our purple ribbon logo and travel the globe righting the wrongs of fellow fibro-mites. (The gangs would consists of those who felt well enough to travel---so it might never go beyond this web-site, but you have our support)

 hello girls. I'm so sorry you are having such a bad time right now. I don't know if yall have ever tried massage therapy but I went last Wed and It really helped . I'm going back today. I'm trying to go every week. She did a "rain drop massage" it was 90 minutes and she used essentail oils. She is letting us deferr the payments becuase money is tight at the moment. I think part of waht helps is having someone focus on me for a little while.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel -- but it's a train about to run over you.
