I thought AIM was what you used with AOL. Is it something you download and everyone can use it?

you can go to oldversion.com and download aim- instant messenger, they have a new version I didnt like so went back to get the old one much easier to use,

any more questions as, I never used aol so anyone can use it.

I have used AIM for several years now. My screenname there is hipmama42.

You don't have to have an e-mail address or account with AOL to use AIM, just download the newer version from the www.aol.com website, or the older version at oldversion.com as Jamie says. I had yahoo messenger at one time for a little while, but decided that for now I would get by with just AIM.
