I am so sad right now. After nights of no sleep and buckets of tears, she is gone to us. Helped to Heaven this morning by Dr Dave, who treated her with respect and the dignity she absolutely deserved. She was my wonderful, beautiful, aloof baby. And I loved her for deigning to allow me in her world I loved her.

I am so sorry for your loss. Our little furry family members have such a special place in our hearts & lives--I wish i could say something to make you feel better, but only time will heal, and the feeling of missing them never goes away completely.

I'm an Advocate

Maggie, of course you're sad! The only thing you can do is cry and get it all out. We're here for you, honey.

I don't think there's anything harder than losing a furry one. It's just heartbreaking beyond belief Sad

Maggie's going to be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Hugs, Tina

Hi Crystal sweetie. Please know that our thoughts are with you as you grieve Maggie. My jade is now going on 10 and not a day goes by when I see her starting to slow down that I do not think about the inevitable. Much love sweetheart, you will never forget her love, but it does get easier.

To Love Again

Oh what unhappy twist of fate

Has brought you homeless to my gate,

The gate where once another stood

To beg for shelter warmth and food?

For from that day I ceased to be

The master of my destiny,

While she, with purr and velvet paw

Became within my house the law.

She scratched the furniture and shed

And claimed the middle of my bed,

She ruled in arrogance and pride

And broke my heart the day she died.

So if you really think, oh cat

I'd willingly relive all that,

Because you come forlorn and thin

Well don't just stand there - come on in!

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

I am just like you and I am on MDJ for support and true friendship. Please, always consult with your doctor about medical advice and medication, never take one's opinion regarding your most precious asset which is your life.
