That is one of my favorite prayers and I say it several times a day! It helps remind me that I need God through out the day, through out the week, through out my life! It has helped calm me in times of stress and pain. Very good prayer for us! Thanks!

Thank You so much for writing that. I have heard the first part but not the rest. I have to learn how to surrender to his will and not my own. That is something i have a hard time doing! I kinda like having things my way. Haha. Even if it doesn't work out the way I want it. I guess that is God's way of telling me that he is still in charge! Living one day at a time is alot easier said than done. I have been working on that for years. Someone told me that I worry too much and worry gets you no where. They told me that I could pay someone else to worry for me and get better results. Ha ha. I will continue to work on finding my faith. Prayers like that help and I am open to anyone who would send me prayers to read in my messages. Have a wonderful day all, Chris

I have the first part of that Prayer sitting in my living room. It's a silver guardian angel rest with a little blue glass/mirror with the words on it in silver.

When I was working, I had gone out on disability & when I returned for a bit two women gave it to me & I had it on my desk. I thought it was very nice of them.

On another note, the table I had it on is next to where my Husband sits & he drinks beer sometimes & felt like it was staring at him I moved it back closer to me Thanks savedone.

I too just had to pass this onto everyone, as it is so very inspiring! I give all the credit to Lesley9555 for sending this to me, so here it goes:

Each and everyone one of us are going through tough times right now, but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the faith.

This prayer is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards. Let's continue to pray for one another.

The prayer:

Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and those that I care deeply for, who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy.

Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through your grace.

Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.

FOOTPRINTS

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene,he noticed two set of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lors about it. "Lord, yoy saidu said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you only see one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
