The place we moved to in October has agreed to let us out of this lease and switch to one of their handicapped accessible units! There are no stairs, which is the best. There's a ramp to the door, a huge greenbelt behind it and the doors are all wider, the bathroom is set up! I'm excited..but I hate moving!!!

Awww, Cornbread, just bite the bullet, get moved and enjoy your new home. If it s going to happen, moping about it won t make it any easier.

If we all could, we d come and help you ~~~ that would be one quick move, huh ?

Just remember to take care of yourself and not overdo with moving ~~~

Let us know how you re adjusting after you re there a week or so ...

Marilyn

Oh, I'm not moping... and ultimately all I really have to do is make food for whomever helps us. Honey guarantees me he'll get it all done without much work from me at all.

LOL! I'm not even gonna blame that on fibro fog, because I have never heard the term. We call 'em yards Wink

ROFL! I just read it to Casty and all she could think of was a green belt in Karate.

LOL it's bigger than a yard, kind of an open park. There's no fence around it. It's like a gigantic yard (longer than the building and about 3/4 of the length wide).

Yeah, it is just a big ol' yard. lol we just have to share it!

LoL Tina, I never heard of it either. Good luck with the move and try not to overdue, sounds like you will be very happy with it.

Sounds like a gift straight from God to me. Not having to navigate steps will surely be a relief to both you and your honey. Too bad about the packing and moving part, look at it as a great way to get rid of old stuff that you don't need anymore. Smile

Yep, I'm already working on a pile to get rid of. When we moved here, we gave away over half of our stuff. Just junk I've collected. Today, I've had the kids working with me, and we've got quite a Freecyle pile going!
