you all remember when I went to this neuro how I couldn't understand why he was consentrating on sleep and I went through the dumb sleep study...

well went to him today and again he is stuck on the sleep study that we have no results for yet ( my other doc didn't send them) he says well have you had any family history of auto amunne disease I said not that I really no about..he does his sensery test goes out of the room to check to see if the test(sleep study) has come in yet returns says he wont keep us my problem is from fibro I looked stund said wait my arm is from fibro its been like this for a year no relief..no thats not from fibro thats from your back the doc you see for that is doing a fine job I say he only see's me for my back,not my neck well its part of the degenertave disease problem I cant help you..

what the hell he's a neurologist am I missing something? I knew from when he enterd he had no clue he is hung up on the sleep thing but as he said that goes with fibro no shit, sorry for the languge..

I am fully disgusted..now I have to try and get my workers comp doctor from this old case with my back to agree its from my back( I doubt) and get workers comp to agree to flip the bill like that will happen I give up I have had enough I have no help and guess I will get no help the end Im tierd

Broken you are not alone when it comes to Neuro being STUPID! I saw one to and he was hung up on my dizzy spells and black outs having to do with my heart.

Went through the whole stress tests, echo, EKG's, carotid test and the tilt table test are of which were NORMAL. But they still wanted my money even after he said there was nothing more he could do for me. We pay for all these tests and they come back normal and they tell us that's all they can do. There is something really wrong with that. So You see, you are not alone. Hang in there, Girl. God Bless You. shortstuff

I went to emergency room very confused. They said it was extremely bad UTI and extreme dehydation but i have NO symtoms My OD says she can't see any problems.

Doctors! Phewey! 99% of them suck and can't tell their hind end from a hole in the ground!

And neuros seem to be the worst. With one exception that I had. He was too good, though, and the hospital got rid of him! Replaced him with an idiot!

I have noticed that the majority of us that complain about mds, most of them are neuros. I wonder why? Oh, Tina, I just noticed you said the same thing.

am I confused or what doesn't a nuero deal with nerves? he made a suggestion of a rumie..jeeze thats where I started.why oh why can I not get help with my neck/arm..but I guess because its on the same side as the trapped nerve in my back/leg that is why..I asked that question to every doctor I saw and it was no you have a slipped disk in your neck after 5 docs not finding it finally someone moved to my shoulder,that came back so now its oh yea its cause of your back now correct me if Im wrong I've been told nerves travel down not up...

I still cant believe this doc though I go to him because of my neck/arm he says its sleep and gets hung on that then when that turns out to be not what he thought he tells me my sleep problem is do to fibro( duh) my neck /arm that I went there for has nothing to do with it by good luck finding yet another priced to high doctor to not listen and pass you to the next...I guess I will do what I never wanted and live off of pain meds...I am sooooooo mad

I feel u r pain and fusteration. Im beginning to think thera r very few mds in this world that r truly in their fields to prevent and cure people and find answers to diseases. They r dictated by insurance companies for a 10 min visit so if u dont talk fast and get to the point u r screwed. So many thing have same symptoms. Its crazy. Somtimes u have to look outside of the box. And family history.

10 yrs ago i had a neuro that said i had ms and wanted to start me immediatly on meds for it. Scared the u know what out of me. With three kids the only thing i knew about it was a wheelchair. I went thru spinal tap to confirm. (what a nitemare)Didn't have it. Boy was i happy.Then everything was dropped.What would have happened if i started the meds would my kids have a mother today?

Now 10 yrs later sooooo many more symptoms later recent MRI on brain that i had to beg for because all testing has came up normal. so they say. Showed chronic ischemic blood vessel disease. Which i have been sent to a new neuro he said ive been having mini strokes. With never been diag with any precusors for this I wanted to know whats causeing this. He tells me its just a fancy name for harding of the arteries. I asked if it was ms he said no indication at all. As he had his back to me getting ready to walk out of the room (afterall 10min was almost up) he said cont topomax/maxalt for migraines, yea u r kinda young for this mayb u should take a baby asprin daily, oh ill put u on klonopin c you in 4 months. And he would call and discuss this with my gp. And he walked out.

So the 4 or 5 times ive been taken to er with strange attacks similiar to TIAs, Over the last 10 yrs, Ive been told are due to axienty(Sp)attacks, Stress, etc. Hows u r life, marriage, work, etc... if i had problems with that crap i would say something. That is the first conclusion all these idiots come up with. Does anyone care anymore.Now i have a brain of a 70 yr old and dont know why.Who might have a clear answer?

I had my appt. with my gp and told him of the appt with neuro he even said klonopin he just wanted u out of office. He never called him to talk about my case. What a bunch of BS!

At least my Gp believes in me but just dosent know whats wrong. He has visually seen the changes and cant explain them. Desperatly trying to find the answers. Tired of the pain anf fusteration. Its not in my head it is real. These mds just dont care! They write scripts to make u go away not treat the real cure.

So for now i still try to find the answers. There may b someone out there who will help me and my gp. My kids need it for their future.
