Why wear a ribbon?

"I have hs. I suffer with chronic pain daily. I wear this ribbon with pride." (Cynthianne)

MDJunction to me

ThereseML"When I first came to MDJ, I was in need of peer support in dealing with issues of my childhood abuse. I was moving away from the painful issues and trying to find an uplifting group of people to help me transition to a thriver in my life. I found that here. I also found a group of peers with Fibromyalgia and found the same uplifting experience there. My computer crashed and it was a while before I found my way back, this time with issues related to Parkinson's Disease. I had tried a few other support sites before reminding myself of MDJ. On those, I never got a reply. I finally found my way back here and again found very supportive, caring and inspiring people who made me feel like I was 'back home'. Indeed I am." (ThereseML)

Hubby quite thoughtfully shared a stomach flu he had on Tuesday and Wednesday, and it hit me somewhere around midnight. At least I got the food I was going to take for the dinner made earlier in the day.

So here I sit trying to NOT throw up. So far I'm winning. Hopefully that will continue to be the case.

Although I have to say this...Tina. Are you SURE you didn't breathe on me? Sick

Hi Kristy! I've been meaning to write to you about how you've been since your aunt passed away. Do you still think your reaction has something to do with a head injury?

In regards to poor you with a stomach flu, you now have "Fibro-Plus"=Fibro plus anything else which is wreaking havoc on your body or mind=FMPS!! I'm trying to coin this phrase and will continue to use it until and after everyone here uses it! How's that for ego? I can be quite stubborn! I think I'll become a Fibro-Diva and make everybody call me that! hahaha

I'm so sorry that you are nauseous! I'm a firm believer that there is nothing worse than nausea with or without v........(I won't say the word; it may push you over the edge and you may land kissing the porcelain goddess OR a bad toothache. Now, this is coming from someone who has severe pain from fibro so I know exactly how bad you feel right now. Have you anything to take for this in your home? A Phenergan supp.? Ginger ale? I do hope it passes soon!

Well, I wish you a calm tummy and I send you air hugs, right now. The real ones may also send you over...lol.....sorry, this is not funny!! Bad Bonnie!! Feel better sweetie, Bonnie

Cute picture, Bo, but you were window peeking in the wrong house, sweetie. LOL...I carried a black plastic trash bag with me from room to room last night because I knew there was no way I was going to be able to kiss any goddess, porcelain or other wise (LOL, Bonnie!). Although kissing goddesses isn't real high on my to do list anyway.

Thanks for the well wishes. I probably shouldn't have even posted about it, but when you can't lay down, you can't sleep in your chair (which is NOT a recliner), and you're basically up until 6 a.m., you've got to do something. So I came to my second home.

Anyway, I think it's on its way out the door. I'll find out pretty soon because I just drank a little something for the first time in 9 hours. It was only about 24 hours for hubby, and I'm hoping it's the same for me.

Fes...I want that picture hanging on my bedroom wall. Smile

Anyway, except for wishing I was still in bed, and I've only been up for about an hour, and a slight headache, I'm a lot better than I was all night! The timing still sucks, though. I've never missed the funeral of a close family member before.

The only thing that brings me any pleasure is knowing that hubby is stuck carrying out the trash...

Kristy, I'm sure you know this but porcelain goddess=toilet, kissing porcelain goddess=throwing up in toilet. No hidden meanings, silly. Hugs from a distance & love, Bonnie
