They just announced that our county had canceled school for tomorrow here and it is only raining. They are expecting it to turn to snow later on and that the roads may freeze over. My kids are bouncing off the walls. It has been about 3 years since they have had a snow day and my youngest that is 6 has never seen it snow other than flurries here. I may go crazy over the next 24 hours. Wish us luck they will have a blast if it does snow, I am so glad my husband is home, he is like a big kid and will have them out in it in no time.W00t

bc1028 I figured I would stop being selfish and spread the joy. I live in Michigan and we had a snow day this past friday. I thought it was time to spread my wealth. Snow, rain, more snow, sunny days, melting snow, freezing at night, roads a sheet of ice....la la la. ENJOY BABYCAKES! I sent it with love.

Bc1028, we just had our "snow day" today! Tongue I live in central east Alabama, and it has been a few years since we had snow. We only got about an inch or so this morning, but most has already melted. It was beautiful. I sat in my recliner covered with a blanket and watched the snow falling and the birds feeding. (We have 20+ red birds/Cardinals in our backyard today. They are gorgeous in the snow.) Before some of you start laughing at our big snow accumulation Wink , you must take into consideration that Friday and Saturday was in the 70's here, and then we have snow today. What a wild ride!

An interesting note, my daughter and her husband had a business trip to Minnesota this past week. They were there during the bad snow storm last week with the temp around 0 degrees. It was the worst winter storm of the season! Boy, were they weather "shocked." They came home to 70 degree weather, and then snow and wind chills near 0 degrees today. I guess it just followed them home! Wink

Gentle Hugs,
Carla

Carla, I know how you feel. I'm in Pearland, right outside of Houston and we had snow this year. It was at night and it was soooo beautiful and peaceful to see. It snowed for a long time and stayed around for a couple days, which is odd.

Two days ago, our high was 80 and last night it got down to 30. It's been one weird winter here.

Bela- Thanks so much, I will send you the bill for my psych appt after this is over with, haha. I really cannot wait, I love it since we see it so seldom. I remember when we lived in Huntsville, Al it snowed so much one year which they said you unusual for them, that we go sick of seeing it.

Auntie- I am right outside of Augusta, GA. We really do not see much so we are really excited. I took a nap and woke up with the kids all sitting on my bed with the shades wide open waiting on the snow!!

Adwyn- where are you? my dad lives near Peach Tree City in Atlanta and earlier today, my brother was visiting and said it looked like a blizzard up there.

Autumn- I love to watch it whenit is so beautiful. We live in a circle and really have the only kids here so everyone elses yard will be beautiful and mine will look like there was a war in it; but, that is ok, the kids will have a ball.
