MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

The Zombie Apocolypse has been quite the topic on Facebook lately. I thought we should have a thread to share our thoughts and feelings about it.

Funny, people. I like. But I have bigger problems than zombies.

If Zombies killed cicadas, I would have a zombie party here. SHADUP!!!! That critter must be right beside the single pane window fer cryin out loud. He is buzzing so loudly.

Ahhh he stopped. Hooe he moved away permanently.

And those crickets had better stop slipping in under my door.

Are you a fan of "The Walking Dead" series on AMC? I reluctantly tried it at first, then was hooked. I didn't want nightmares or hear things at night, but it was cleverly scripted.
My postings are based purely on personal and professional experience. I'm no expert or M.D., and always recommend a physicians opinion and treatment plan. I don't practice medicine, law or ethics. I'm just a nurse hoping to give as much as I take. Peace.

I know Mo watches that but I haven't. The current zombie apocolypse is from this new craze of using bath salts as a illecit drug....puts people in a zombie like state and one guy in Florida was caught eating a homeless man that was still alive. Then suddenly there were reports all over the place about this stuff! So drug addicts won't rob us anymore, they will just eat us!

Actually, the toxicology report finally came back on that guy in Florida, and he wasn't on bath salts. He wasn't on anything other than some marijuana. They still have no clue why he went nuts and started eating that guy's face. Although, they did say that the tox screen only tests for things we know about and are commonly used. Lord only knows what he might've huffed or taken that's not tested for.

Hubby and I often jokingly refer to the Zombie Apocalypse as a code for when everything breaks down... personally, I'm thinking a superbug like the 1918 Spanish Flu outbreak, he's betting on economic collapse and a new depression era. Based on:

report today, he might be right!

Even the CDC has a Zombie Preparedness plan!
