MDJunction to me

jaguarandcubs"MDJ is an integral part of my everyday life. Since joining in 2010, I have met so many amazing people. It is truly incredible to be able to share good times and not so good times with others who face the same health challenges. And MDJ has support groups for every condition I have. I don't know of anywhere else that can offer that. I love that I can learn from others as well as offer my own experiences for others to learn from." (jaguarandcubs)

don't feel as confident than before your fibro days..

now when you leave the house un-fashion coordinated, perhaps without adequate coverage for your boobies cause your any type of pressure or stickies hurt too much, your hair is looking bad, so has posture and weight?

i feel less confident, esp when i fear or actually run into some people that i don't like and have made fun of or criticised me. i just feel anxious about running into them looking like this

I will probably feel a little uncomfortable to come across anyone I know from different days. I've moved so much I may jump for joy to see a familiar face in my life. I don't know a soul here.. Grooming: I don't pluck anything but the wildest of hairs, and this last month I gave up on shaving anything but my calves. I may take up a full shave again, just can't right now. No makeup has been on my face in a long time.

I have become more like a real person, I don't judge others as much on their looks. I'm glad to give up some of that.

I'm not happy to wear the shoes I wear. They are totally utilitarian. Oh well.

You are a lot younger than me, dc, so I guess it's going to be harder psychologically in a way. On the bright side, you look a lot better because you are young!

When you are young you don't realize how small your pores are, how naturally pretty you are. We wait until we are older, and see pictures of our young selves and say: What did I fret for? I looked GOOD back then.

I do work on the posture, because I feel pain when I don't. And my clothes still match -- I hope.
