MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

I'm sure this has been done before, but a music thread sounded good.

Music that makes you feel good... music that makes you run screaming from the room- or the closest you can get to running!

Do you have a favorite song? Does it bring back a memory, or just make you want to sing?

Finally, what would you nominate for...

The.

Worst.

Song.

Ever.

Worst song- Take on Me by AHa

My favorite- You Are Loved by Josh Groban or What I Cannot Change by LeAnn Rimes

I'm a music maniac.

My contribution.... WORST song EVER! "Father Figure" by George Michael. This song seriously creeps me out! It sounds like an anthem for perverts and pedophiles! If I hear it, like in a store, I have to leave. Too many nasty ghosties.

I get that same icky feeling with that song.

I love that Minnie Ripperton song! Did you know she's the mother to the girl that was on SNL- Maya something. Died when she was just a baby.

I can't take the really high screaming notes. I was pregnant and living in CA at the time that song came out. I had 24 hr morning sickness 7 days as week and I wasn't feeling too good. The song is nice but the screamy high notes on it are terrible. That's why I don't like Mariah Carey either. She hurts my ears. She's got a beautiful voice and she's a beautiful girl but why the screaming?

Best song - anything by Josh Groban

Worst - anything heavy metal. The screaming metal guitars really hurt my ears.

I've noticed I'm so much more sensitive to loud noises too. In fact, I went and looked up Loving You on youtube and had to stop it at that first high note. Yikes.

I used to be a total metalhead...now it makes my brain hurt.
