I love reading how you all got your screennames I used to roleplay online and after some dramatic roleplay episodes, began using Midnyte as part of my nick and since then, it stuck. It was shortened by friends in the game I play, when up to it (Lord of the Rings Online), to Mid and now I forget what my real name is sometimes *lol* I bet no one else has days like that?

Thanks for the smiles this morning, as several others have stated, it has been a bad week for pain. I wonder if the moon is changing phases or it's the weather or what?

The treasure of our being in this world is also produced by an injured life. If we had not been wounded, if we had not been injured, then we will not produce the pearl."

I think it's all the tropical storms and hurricanes over the past few weeks that have been causing us problems. Plus we're now in typical fall weather...chilly nights and mornings with warmer days. Even without fibro I've always had to adjust to the change in the weather with the seasons. Just now the stakes are a bit higher.

Weird thing I've noticed this year... this late in the season and the trees around here are mostly still green! I'm not sure what that means!

My kids seem to think that the house cleans its self. So I started telling them that the "dish" fairy came and did the dishes or the "laundry"fairy. My hubby started calling me fairy mama, but that was taken so I changed the spelling.

May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

I must say that I am impressed with the depth of expression in the screen names. I was not so creative with mine. (Read from right to the left to see, the name that my parents gave to me.) YENDOR

I'm a vegetarian. I love tofu (no not something that happened overnight. I use to think it was soooo gross but after a little trial and a lot of error I have to say it's really good and easy to cook and very cheap!! ) and my name is Susie. Dropped the S and Tofusie

Tootsiegirl, I love your name ! My mother-in-law's nickname is Tootsie - my kids call her Grandma Tootsie - Long story/short is that when she was born (in 1922) her Grandmother had just passed, so instead of telling her name to the family, they said " oh what a little tootsie she is" so that her Mother wouldn't know that her own mom had passed... I guess that is a happy/sad day!!

I got my screen name from when I had my hysterectomy 6 years ago. I had decided that lavender was a comfort color, so I went to the hospital with all of my things lavender - and gifts for the nurses - all in pastels - lavender was the prominent color for them too. (just an aside here, but when you give your nurses gifts, they really make sure you have everything you need !!)

When I don't feel well, I drink tea - so even tho I am a die hard coffee drinker, I was always asking for hot tea. Hence Lanandertea - I misspell it on purpose - no one else uses the name that way! Of course my misspelling drives my hubby crazy, but I tell him that's my job 'specialy since it's in the job discription!!

vey interesting, and thank you very much. Tootsie is my daughter. I gave her that name when she was about 3-4 days old, I also nicknamed my niece(the very first one I had at the time) I call her" BEAN" she is now 19 yrs old and the name still sticks, lol. I'm a tea-head as well, I need my cup of coffee in the morning but for the rest of the day I usually drink cold green tea and hot green tea at night! Have a great day Lavandertea and welcome to the forum!
