I couldnt' find the prayer posts so I started a new one because I really need all that would to pray that my bf gets the job he is interviewing for today and I can find the strength I need to continue if not. Things have been so tight lately with finances that many necessities are going to the wayside and if this or another job doesn't work out for him, not sure what will happen next month when my SSD has additional deductions for my medicare fees and prescription D fees. I know many of us have finance issues and I will continue to include you in my prayers as usual. Please dont' think me selfish or anything, I just don't know how much longer I can go on if things continue to get worse financially. I finally find an area with drs. that understand and try to help and now other things are building up.

Thank you for letting me vent about this and again, please remember us in your prayers. I apologize for going into so much detail, it's not easy for me to do but sometimes it takes humility not pride.

Blessings to you all and may you have a painfree day!

Yes, many of us can relate. I know I can. I know my prayers are with you. It's so sad that we live in a country that espouses such wonderful assistance to others in the world, and yet we can't find real help when we need it without a ton of paperwork and red tape. It should be easier to make our way, especially when we're sick and have to fight just to get out of bed every day. I hope that job comes through, with more money than expected!!

Thank you! If he can just make the amount they stated, we can survive and I won't complain about it. I don't want to be rich, just have enough money to make sure food is on the table, a roof over our heads, get meds and pay the drs. copays, pay the monthly bills, fix my car and pc, and maybe afford to splurge on dinner at the dollar menu at some restaurants... and I don't mean do that all at once. I don't mind being patient and getting things done a little at a time but it sure is hard knowing you have to let important things go for longer periods of time.

I would also like to add I feel badly about going into as much detail as I did. Luckily I stopped myself before adding more. *blushes* I know it's hard for many of us financially and I thank God we don't have children to support on top of everything else. I commend anyone with children now adays.

You shouldn't feel bad. Shoot, this place has been a blessing if for no other reason than I can vent here and go on and on. And there are so many other reasons!

Yeah, I have 3 extra mouths to feed. I love them, but man, I wish they came with their own food supply! LOL

Update: He did well on the interview but now comes the wait. During this time we will continue to keep praying he gets the job. I really appreciate your kind words, thoughts, and prayers.

Cornbread, my daughter has 3 girls so I can kinda understand how keeping food can be. I raised her as a single mom for a few years after divorcing her dad (which wasn't much different than before the divorce other than I "had" to support him too part of the time). Children are a blessing but takes a lot to support and worth every second in most cases. This group or as I prefer to think of it "family" has been one of the best blessings I have had in years and am so thankful to be back even if I can't keep up as much as I'd like.

Blessings upon you all and a painfree day!

3 girls? My prayers are with her! I have 1 girl....they are so much harder than boys! I love my kids but yeah, they're work. I can't imagine how some of these moms with FMS do it with little kids. Mine are old enough to take care of themselves and help me...it's got to be so hard with little ones.

I hope this job comes through. What sort of job is it if I can ask?

I think of this place as family too...I have no real family of my own so it's great to have this board.

It's a Customer Service type job. He has lots of experience in different areas.. kind of a jack of all trades master of none I guess you would say. He's been manager of restaurants, done IT work, repaired computers, and other things but jobs are so scarce here as in many areas. We just keep praying and hanging on.

I can't tell you how I worry about my granddaughters as they grow up.. girls must be harder cause I used to take care of my nephew when he was little and he was so much easier to manage. *lol* My daughter does pretty good with them though

Jobs are scarce everywhere I think. I know around here they're harder to find than hen's teeth.

Update: My bf has just heard from one of the jobs he has interviewed for. If all their required checks go ok, he will start training on the 8th. He is still waiting to hear the final word on the other job which would work out better for us. Either way, it's a job and will be a blessing in that we can afford to keep up our meds and put real food on the table Thanks so much to all of you who prayed for us and I ask for continued prayers that this will work out. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers!

*lots of hugs*
