I live in Rustburg Virginia. I am just outside the city of Lynchburg( well known as the home of Jerry Falwell and Liberty University) I was born here but moved to Columbus Ohio at age 13 and stayed there for 10 years( go Buckeyes) I just had to come back home. I too have sons in the military so I have been to many other states to visit them and have found that there is truly no place like home.

I tried going home last year to New Jersey but it just wasn't the same at all. I had been gone too long. The place changed so much and I became spoiled in California. Now I live in Washington state and I wouldn't change the beautiful blue and smogless skies for anything.

I live across the river from the town where I went to high school and a few years ago (long before the fibro diagnosis) I got completely turned around on Xmas Eve...I left my step-mother's, headed for where my sister was working, a road suddenly ended and somehow I ended up back at my step-mother's. Could have been a particarly scary version of "The Twilight Zone" LOL...sometimes you can go home but you can't escape!

I don't know where I'm from. Born in NC, I've lived in nine states, one foreign country, moved 26 times in one city and wound up in Texas. So when people ask me where I'm from, I really have no idea!
