Cool topic! I'm getting in on it late, because I had computer problems--(wow, can that ever mess up my day!) But am I the only South Dakota Girl? I live in a beautiful area called the Black Hills, but they are really mountains. (yes, mountains in S.D.!) I live near Deadwood, famous for gunslingers in western movies, at over a mile high, not too far from Mt. Rushmore.

Cornbread! How can you not love Colorado?????

I lived in Durango for 15 years and it was my favorite place I had ever lived (and I've lived all over this great country...Australia too). I am now in the country of East Texas which is gaining a close second to Durango, although I really miss the mountains and the snow. But I'm a Southern Belle too....born in North Carolina and raised by a true Southern Lady.

BTW...I love your user name, he he.

well, I was born and raised in New England (born in CT, raised in NH)... but now I'm in Columbia, MD, which is just about halfway between Baltimore and DC...

Because of the military, I was in San Antonio TX, Monterey, CA and San Angelo, TX for a few years before being sent here to MD.

I live in Crossville, TN about halfway between Knoxville and Nashville, but closer to Knoxville. Have lived in different places at different times since my ex was in the Army. Lived in Germany, Ft. Benning, GA, Ft. Richardson, AK, and Ft. Polk, LA. Loved living in Alaska and would love to go back to visit sometime. Was born in Crossville and when he got out of the Army we moved back here and have been back here for 21 years. Love Tennessee and the TENNESSEE TITANS

Sometimes it's hard to walk, talk, or even know what tomorrow brings. But as long as I have a smile on my face I can give a little bit of sunshine!
