Why wear a ribbon?

"to support myself and others with fibro" (leelee1)

MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

I thought you could do it through your profile but I guess not.

I would try going to your profile, and clicking on the awareness ribbon. Brings up a page with all the ribbons on it. Click on the fibro one, it will open a new window that shows the ribbon and the box to put your reason for wearing it. I would put what you want then it asks you if you want to change the ribbon, I would clikc yes and see what happens.

Seems like the long way around but once you get to know me, I never take the short direct route

Thanks! I was able to change my comment with my Support Ribbon by clicking on Wear A Support Ribbon, re-selecting my purple ribbon and typing text of new comment, then clicking the Wear the Ribbon button.

I sometimes think this website is less than user-friendly.

You got that right, then try and explain something that isn't user firendly with my blonde, fibro-fogged, senile brain....that's a hoot!

Glad you got it changed
