We all have heard that laughter is the best medicine, and although my pain has reached it's alltime high these past few weeks, I have to admit that even a little smile to my face help my outlook a bit.

So what makes you laugh? What makes you literally laugh out loud, whether you're alone or with a group?

For me, my daughter has turned into a little comedian. Her raspberries that seem unending, her infectious giggles, watching her "dance" in her Enstein exersaucer...it all makes me laugh along with her. We just keep the chain of laughs going back and forth between the two of us.

Now my hubby likes to "pun"ish me with puns (sorry, it's been so ingrained in me over the last six years that I sometimes can't hold it in) While there are many times I tell him he needs new material because it really is getting old, I still smile even if I don't let him catch me doing it.

I also laugh when my dogs get silly. Seamus has the cutest "puppy" smile. And Mackenzie's eyes do all the smiling for her. Nobody can be in a bad mood with those two around!

What fun! Enjoy your honey's puns...my biggest regret after my 1st husband died was that I didn't laugh at all his jokes.

I get my daily giggles at icanhascheezburger.com It's just so absurd! I even find myself speaking LOLspeak and I swear its destroyed my spelling, but I usually laugh out loud several times a day and it really is good medicine.

I think that is something I don't do too much anymore. In the past year I have tried to smile more, especially at strangers at Wal-Mart, and laugh more. I find myself LOling more at work, usually with clients, and I'm not really sure what I find that is funny.

I find I do most of my smiling and laughing right here. Smiling mainly when I read someone's caring compassionate post and LOLing when broken, or Jan or Barbara or any of the others posts the dumb things they do, also I don't feel like a complete idiot when I do the same thing

Be wise and dignified like the swan: he maintains his composure, staying unruffled on the surface, while always paddling like crazy underneath.

I also go to the American Legion and hang out with a bunch of people I would never have met otherwise. We're all ages, there are even people who bring their little kids since we're a private club, not a bar. Personally I kind of think of the place as a bar and have that "Sweet Home Alabama" reaction everytime "A baby! In a bar!" but that's just me. My point was though that I sit with a lot of funny drunks and laugh ALOT a couple of times a week. I also help out with paperwork etc., but I'm mainly there for entertainment.

I mostly laugh here too. But my kids are great at making me laugh, especially my oldest. As many tears as I've cried over that kid, the laughter is wonderful. And I laugh every time Honey's dog, Tugboat, cocks his head to the side when he talks to his daddy. He talks...and he knows when we say too loud to his barking, so he'll tone it down. He's a hoot.

I LOVE it when our dogs cock their head to one side like they are really focusing on what we're saying. I also love it when I say "Hay" to one of them....they've both learned that it usually follows with a question like "Do you want cheese?" "Do you want a cube (ice)?" "Do you want a cookie (biscuit)?" Then I crack up because they'll freeze, listen to the question and then run to where they know that items is! mackenzie even barks a "yes" to wanting something!!

Whoever said dogs don't understand the English language never gave my dogs enough credit!!!

yeah, my Georgia is like that. You can ask her if she wants to go potty and she'll bark yes and then wait by the door. Cheese is her favorite food! You can take just about anything out of the fridge, but if she hears that cheese wrapper, she's under foot!! LOL I know my dogs understand English. Tugboat is the biggest of the 3 older pups we have. He is the one not allowed to jump on me because he's just so heavy even though he's the same small size as Georgia and Butterbean. He gets upset and will say Mama over and over until I love on him. He's such a weird dog...that's why he's Honey's!! LOL

My dogs get their allergy medicine in cheese. They not only recognize the wrapper they know what the pill cutter and pill bottle sound like as well as where the steak knives are on the counter that I use to cut it for them!! I always end giving it to them with "all gone, no more" or they'd be hassling me for more!!!

TOO CUTE!!
