I am a male who suffers from fibromyalgia. My fibromyalgia is post-traumatic. After a severe car accident in which I suffered bilateral lower extremity fracturs, partial hearing loss and brain/spinal cord injury, I spent 3 days in a coma and have suffered from significant pain every day of my life since then, nearly 24 years. I have tried NSAIDS, steroids and a variety of other medications. Fibromyalgia affects my ability to function every day. I have occasional fibromyalgia flare-ups and I frequently experience "fibrofog". I joined this online support group yesterday. I'd like to hear from other males with fibromyalgia.
