MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

We must reach out to support each other,

With this pain we suffer through each day.

Let’s hold hands to gain strength

To be united and be strong.

We will educate our community

Our friends and family as well

We will spread the word

Let our voices be heard

We stand strong together,

We are the fibromyalgia soldiers

We make up the front.

Let the research we endure provide data

So that future sufferers may not endure

And hopefully us supporting each other

Will help us to find a cure.

Sometimes it's hard to walk, talk, or even know what tomorrow brings. But as long as I have a smile on my face I can give a little bit of sunshine!

You tell me Mr. Fibromyalgia

What is it you think you see,

You think you prey on the weak

But guess what you’re wrong, listen to what I speak

I never knew the strength I had before you

I’m sure for many of us that’s true.

You beat me up and suck my energy dry

But guess what you aren’t going to make me cry.

I’ll get up again, I always do

I’m not one that likes to lose.

Maybe I can’t beat you but I’ll do the best I can

Hear me roar I am WOMAN!

I may not have a high tolerance for pain

But my pillow has not a tear stain.

I pull myself up everyday

I find strength in knowing I’m winning that way.

Sometimes I lay without the strength to stand,

But I have my fibro family to lend me a helping hand.

I will stay strong, I will survive,

You cannot take it, it is my life.

You tell me Mr. Fibromyalgia

What is it you think you see

You think you prey on the weak,

You can’t keep me quiet, listen to us speak!

That's awesome and so true!! I will put that up on my desk at work for the 'down days'
On the good days smile as much as you can!

On the bad days it's ok to cry!
