Hi All,

I'd like to pray for each of you, so keep me updated. I'm new to all this, though I've suffered for several years. My only prayer request is that I figure out how to not overdo it and keep causing flare ups.

Thanks so much,

Alicia

my daughter needs prayer well actually her friend, she was in a terrible car accident and is in seriuse condition her name is sarah,my daughter (sis) needs prayer because at the end of last year her junior year there were several accidents involving eight diffrent students within weeks of eachother where many kids from her school were hurt two of her friends were killed in seperate accidents within three days,it was very hard on her and she I fear is worried it is happening again do to this accident this is her last year of school and she goes to a small school where everyone knows everyone,it is good but as of these last several months has proved it has its draw backs, please pray for the kids of Jasper to have a safe year for sarah to heal and for sis to be strong in the face of fear.

I will pray for both of them. My kids are in a small school too, so we know what this can be like. Tell her to hang in there and to pray for Sarah. Is she a senior this year?

God bless,

Alicia

yes she is a senior this year Sarah graduated with my son last year,I love a small school for alot of reasons but as I said it sure does have it down side this is it,you know everyone, they heard about the accident because of an email sent to the teachers that is one thing I love how they all surround you, last year was so hard on sis because of all the accidents it was right at the last and one right after another everyone was effected and the kids became scared to go to school in fear they would hear more bad news,it was a scary time for all of us and we lost two wonderful children and so many others were hurt severly it was just so weird because it was day after day of accidents like the school kids had a curse as my daughter put it,they are so young to deal with so much death, our niece was killed 2 yrs ago in an accident and it was very hard on the family and we still struggle with it all the children took it so hard and that is why sis is having trouble with this again

It is always sad to hear of a death, especially of a young person. I hope your daughter and her friends can find comfort and the strenght to deal with the loss of their friends.

I also went to a small school where most everyone knew everyone else but unfortunately? there were so many groups of friends who ignored others, it wasn't the same when we had tragedies. That was quite awhile ago and from the growth of the schools where I grew up, I was beginning to think there weren't schools such as the one your children attend. I do hope the school provides counseling and support for those grieving during such a horrible time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who lost a loved one and/or friend.

To keep religion and politics separate from this site, you may wish to call this site reflections? That way people of many faiths/or no faiths do not feel intimidated? Just a thought.
