MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

Jan,

Jan,

That is a fantastic idea!!! They should use that around here, mind you if they did they'd have no staff at all hahahahaha

"When things go wrong and they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but dont you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
Its when things go wrong when you mustn't quit"

I have always asked an employee that was around to help me get something. Then as I look at something high someone has said do you want me to get something for you. That was so nice of this stranger. There are still nice people out there.

My husband is good about helping people reach things that are up too high. I am a little taller than he is (shhh. Don't tell him I told you. He is in denial) so it would probably be easier for me to do that. Typically though, I am in my own little world and don't even notice if someone needs help.

I once walked away from him not even realizing it. When I turned to figure out where he had disappeared to, he was helping an elderly man find the right box of cereal. I felt bad because he had apparently called to us and asked for help and I never even noticed. I just kept walking. I get so overwhelmed in a store I just get tunnel vision I guess.

When I worked at Walmart I remember many occasions where a customer needed someone to help them shop because they were in a wheelchair or motorized cart. Sometimes they would page a member of management to help out. Sometimes it was floor help. I just know when I was asked to do it, I very much enjoyed it. I don't understand rude, grouchy store employees. There is no reason for it.

I still cant figure out why the pain patches and back ache rubs are on the bottom shelf how dumb,

I try and make a list at the begining of the week then I lose it so I've wrote the stupid thing at least five times then when in the store I either forget I have it or have left it where I wouldn't forget it,

what I hate is if I go alone trying to figure out is picking that gallon of milk up worth it do I need the pain patches off the bottom shelf and of course I dont need to pick up all the grocries I'll come back and get some more with help, to do it all again 2 days later. how much money do we loose in gas, higher products cause there handy, and I to loved coupons but dont feel like fooling with them Wal-mart does honor other prices I use to write them directly on the product so I wouldn't forget but dont do that anymore either I want to get in and get out,I to always wind up with the stupid left pulling cart or the jumpy tire,I live so far out in the country fed ex and ups had a hard time finding me I finally had them deliver to my freinds it was easier to find but I am going to check into the on line shopping..and as for why cashiers dont smile well the new ones due they dont know better but as was stated before would you and some of them might be in the pain we cant see, others are just plain rude and need their dollar taken I always went to one cashier in Wal mart even if I stood in line a little longer (on a good day) pick one and stay with that one if you can find one

Regarding coupons: I joined The Grocery Game and it makes the whole coupon thing so much easier. Just save you coupon circulars in a folder with the date for each week. Then log in each week to get your list (you can choose lists from stores in your area). Each list tells you if it is a good deal or not (just because it is on sale doesn't mean it is a good deal) and it also tells you what coupon to use and which weeks circular it is from.

This makes it super simple because you can print your list, cut your coupons and go. Also makes it easy to send someone else shopping. I find I save at least 50% doing this.

A four week trial is $1. I think for four stores it costs me $25 for 8 weeks. Very worth it since I save way more than that.

I went grocery shopping today and for the first time every I had to set on my seated walker three times or I would of went right down on the floor. For me it is due to my PP disease. When I get my flare ups from my FMS it takes me longer to shop because my legs would get so tired walking. I do not know why this happens to us. We just have to "Keep On Truckin."
