"I have Crohn's Disease along with Fibromyalgia." (katiek)

MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

I am half way through pregnancy and still little to no fibro symptoms. Every now and then i have twinges i guess so i wont forget!! uughh. Mostly my neck. But pregnancy is going well, in my 20th weekand next week is the ultra sound hopefully we will see gender!!! I am hoping for a girl but will love this little peep no matter what.

So exciting and i have names picked out but they could change.

Girls: Elena Esperanza Corral, After my mom and my husbands grandma.. love both names.. they mean Elena (another form of Ellen, mom's name, means light) and (Esperanza , means hope) , other girls names to be considered are Chloe, Sienna, or Olivia.

Boy: Alejandro Loreto Corral, Alejandro or (Alex) because i like it, and Loreto is Husbands grandfathers name who was married to the grandma mentioned above. I have not thought enough on names i better get a move on. ha!

I better get a move on have to go shopping for preggo clothes.. I have reached my clothes limit here. ha!

Jane... in 20th week.. so excited.. this has truely turned out to be wonderful..

Hi Jane ...

Congratulations on the pending new arrival !!! It s great to hear you say you will ""love the little peep no matter what"" ...way to go !!!

Glad to hear things are going well and that Fibro isn t causing problems. Just pray that you don t have a flare following delivery of your little one.

The names all sound wonderful ... I would hate to have to make the choice of what to name my baby anymore. I had a hard enough time when having both daughters.

Stop in more often and let us know how you and the little one are doing ...

Take care ... Marilyn

My sister was telling me just a few days ago about an episode of Mystery Diagnosis she saw where this woman's symptoms disappeared when she got pregnant. She turned out to have a thyroid condition called Hashimoto's disease. Just wanted to throw that in there before I forgot.

I would like to say congratulations. My mother was 38 when I was born. My youngest sibling was 13. These things happen. The good thing is at 9 your son is old enough to help out a lot with the baby. Hope things continue to go well for you.

Hi Jane! Congratulations!!!!!! I have two little ones - my baby just turned 6mos old yesterday, and I can relate. I had little to no symptoms thru both pregnacies - it was such a welcome relief!

I'm so very happy for you. Hope to hear back again soon!

Sometimes it's hard to walk, talk, or even know what tomorrow brings. But as long as I have a smile on my face I can give a little bit of sunshine!

Wow, all this talk of remissions during pregnancy is making me want to risk it for the hopes of a few months "off" from the pain.

Hi funny you posted that.. My husband joked last night, now mind you i am 39 and will be 40 when baby comes, he said, we could have another and it would hold the firbo off even longer. I had a dream i got pregnant again after this one. Really i am getting to old.

Oh great news, we had a sonagram and found out we are having a sweet baby boy!! We have named him Jesse! after doing extensive name searches we settle on Jesse because it means Gods Gift!! Which in many ways he is.

I never thought i would ever be able to get pregnant again. Also his coming means no pain for a while for me! What a wonderful gift!! I have 18 weeks to go and can not wait. I have been shopping how fun! have a great day ladies and hugs to you all! I pray you all simultaniously have a pain free day! Wouldnt that be wonderful!

Jane
