MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

They have not checked for protein in my urine because when I finally was able to afford the lab work (the gallons of blood that was drawn) it somehow got forgotten or overlooked. I will have the urinalysis done when I get in to the doctor I am sure. I'll try to remember to call today to make my appointment before we go to Arkansas this afternoon. I better make a list. So much to do today.

Also, when I had the high liver function in Arkansas she did check for other illnesses that could cause that. I forget what she checked for. Everything came up normal so she checked my liver function again. She also said no alcohol and no Tylenol because those could make it worse.

When I mentioned this to my new doctor she acted like that was silly if the reason for it was unknown. I have been having a hard time getting back in to see me new doctor. Once she canceled because she was sick (she also has some chronic illness) and then when I was rescheduled apparently they didn't write it down! They said I had no appointment so I got very upset and just hung up. So I will try again.

I also seem to always have a bladder infection. Thankfully I have a friend who gets chronic bladder infections due to a surgery she had. She has antibiotics specifically for bladder infections which is great since I can never get in to the doctor. But my lower back hurts a lot which makes me wonder if there is an issue with my kidneys.

I don't know if all of that actually tells you anything or not. I will be heading out of town shortly but I will take my computer so I don't miss much work. This will be a very short month for me anyhow. I have been so fatigued (mentally and physically) that I can hardly work more than an hour at a time. Looking at the computer seems to make me nauseated. My vision has really gotten terrible and I wonder if it is due to the extreme dryness.

Anyhow, I am rambling again. Sorry. I am very stressed about my mom (grandmother). The trip will he hard on me because we will be driving for two days and I can barely handle driving for two hours. It will kill me to see her like she is too.

So I have lots of getting ready before we head out. I may be able to post while we are away since I will have my 'puter. So if anyone has any more insight, I will appreciate it.

Thank you everyone for being supportive. I don't handle stress well so it is nice to vent to someone. Even if I seem to be all over the place in this post. I really am trying to make sense.

UPDATE: I just got an email that my mom (grandmother) is suddenly able to swallow and talk today! She is also demanding to go home. lol So I am just in shock. We are still going up to visit. It will probably be our last opportunity since she is 85 and has cancer (I forget what kind she has).

I just wanted to share my good news. I can hardly believe it.

That IS good news. You have a safe and enjoyable trip. Try and take care of yourself.

Keep us informed on how things go once you get back into the doctor.

We'll be thinking about ya!

Wow Kat that is good news about your grandmother. She must be a fighter.

The bladder infections can cause the low back pain especially if the infection has traveled up to your kidneys. It's like a dull ache that you can't get rid of.

I had frequent bladder infections when I was younger. The Doctor I went to in Los Angeles put some type of antibiotic directly into my bladder. I had to hold it for atleast an hour before I could go to the bathroom. I have no idea of what he used but I didn't get another one for almost 20 years.

The only medicine that would work on my bladder infections was Cipro

and Macrobid.

May your troubles be less, Your blessings be more. And nothing but happiness come through your door!
