kat5150 I'm glad you made it through with minimal trouble. We were lucky it made landfall further south of us than originally thought so we have had more wind than rain and that hasn't been bad at all. I hope everyone else is make it through ok. It's now in the middle of the state I know we have others across the state so I pray you all are safe

Karen

Janilee - I lived in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, and Agoura Hills, CA for a while...went through the Northridge earthquake. I'll take storms over earthquakes any day. At least we have time to prepare.

Yes, at least there is a warning so you have a chance to leave. Earthquakes and tornadoes just sneak up on you. Still, if I get the chance to leave Florida I will. I have to see if I can hurt less somewhere else. I am so much worse here. This stupid storm doesn't help. I've been in bed for days now.

I agree with you Kat. It seems to me when the tropical storms come in I hurt so much worse. I remember my doctor telling me that weather wasn't suppose to make a difference in how I feel. I have since told him he was wrong on that one. Jamie I hope your daughter is safe and well. I know the storm has given lots of rain to people and they expect it to come back onto land once it goes in the Atlantic. take care all

I have heard that weather affects fibro. My family wants me to move to Vegas to be in less humidity. (currently in Washington) they think it will help. I hope that all of you are safe and don't hurt to bad. Take care.

Sometimes it's hard to walk, talk, or even know what tomorrow brings. But as long as I have a smile on my face I can give a little bit of sunshine!

Storms DEFINITELY makes me hurt worse! Well, so does humidity, extreme heat, cold and a full moon (I think.). But storms are especially bad. I live in Alabama, and the meteorologists are predicting that we may get a lot of rain from the storm that's in Florida now. The rain is predicted for later this week, so I may as well get prepared for the pain. At least it won't catch me off guard this time!
Gentle Hugs,
Carla
