Jamie that was a good article. I've been turned down for drugs too by my insurance company but they were the Diabetes drugs. One thing I found out this past January when I have my yearly eye exam is the insurance company will pay for your eye exam under your medical insurance if you have another condition which affects the eye. I have heart problems, hypertension, diabetes, focal migraines and some more that directly affect my eye. Sure enough, my eye exam was covered under the medical portion of the health insurance. My husbands company provides eye coverage only on their employees. If I hadn't told my Eye Dr that I didn't have vision coverage anymore, I never would have known.
