You see my cat Bailey in my pic. She adopted us about 5 years ago. When I sit down on the couch to use my lap top it usually takes her less than 5 minutes to jump up and sit on the keyboard. She is a good cat. She never jumps on my table or counters. We found out that she was hit by a car when she was homeless last year when we were gone for a couple of days and when we got back she could hardly move. She now walks sideways. My youngest son has now nicknamed her sidewinder. She is queen of the house!! She also tries to drink out of our glasses. Anything sitting on the floor is free game!!

Hey, wait a minute-lol. That was taken out of context!! We were talking about funny things our cats do!! I don't have time to be in the bathroom any longer than necessary during the day! Ok, I'll shut up before I get myself in trouble! You are too funny, and when I get better computer skills,I will post pics of my kitties, and I will return the favor

My sister bought a himalayan cat...we all thought she was nuts paying $400 for a cat! She already had several strays. The Himalayan turned out to be a prince among cats however. She'd had the cat for about a year when she was toilet training my nephews...she had twins when her oldest was 13 months old, so she was training three boys at the same time. The himalayan apparently watched and learned. My sister started noticing tiny little turds in the toilet and wondered which of the boys was doing it. Then one day she walked into the bathroom and the cat was sitting on the toilet giving her a look like "do you mind?" She absent-mindedly said, "Oh sorry kitty" and walked out before she did a double take. Her boys weren't toilet trained, but her cat was! He babysat the boys for her all the time...would come running and mewing if one of them was hurt or they were fighting. He hated it when they fought & would either tattle or throw himself on top of them if they were wrestling. Great cat.

I do a lot of performing onstage and I created a specialized vanity table where everything I need is just within reach.

My prettiest (don't tell the others I said that) cat is a solid black longhair who thinks whenever it's time for me to do my makeup, it's time for me to do hers too.

She gets up on my vanity and does the "get petted-flip tail-turn-get petted" thing all across my vanity, usually stepping in any open container I have, and then if I pick up the mirror to get a closer look, she nibbles at my arm.

I keep telling her she's a natural beauty and doesn't need all that stuff, but I'm not sure she's convinced.

I really think she's the Diva in the house. I'm just the Starr.

I have a male cat who learned how to turn the water on in the bathtub. He likes to then drink the water in midair as it flows from the faucet. It was funny but annoying, so I was able to mostly break him of it finally because I got tired of constantly hearing the water running in the bathroom and having to go turn it off. he only does it once in a great while any more...

Now he knocks over every cup he can find with any kind of liquid in it. He prefers to drink off of the floor for some reason....As you can see by my profile picture, my Siamese twin white girl cats love to sleep on the computer desk when I am online and sometimes the big one will bat at stuff on the screen. A cat that could use the toilet would be great though

oh yeah, welcome to Creative Soul, Janiefe, Starr, and all the newcomers. Our site is getting so big it is hard to say hi to each and every new member but I want everyone to know what a great group this is...
